I have a hosting company that is not aware if the version they have available for download is secure or not so rather then waiting for 2 weeks to get a response i will ask here.  Is the version (1.2.1) of copermine secure? or is it the version that has a security issue? i dont know if its standalone all i know its version (1.2.1) any ideas?

You should be able to tell if you're running phpNuke/postNuke or not. If not, it's the standalone.

Do not download any version from your webhost -  instead, get the original that is only available here, on the pages of coppermine.sourceforge.net - click on "Downloads" at the very top of this page. Don't use cpg1.2.x at all, as it's outdated - instead: use the most recent stable cpg1.3.2

Please search the board before posting in the future.
