I have just started using coppermine, and I was wondering if there was a way to give users the option to batch/ftp upload to their own galleries? I wish to give space to my brother, but have him be able to batch upload the massive quantities of pictures that he has to his folders.

No, to my knowledge, a user cannot batch upload.  However, you can make your brother a fellow administrator, and he will have batch upload rights.  Just go to users, add user, and classify him as an admin. That will allow him to do everything you do.

the next best thing to batch uplad is xp_publish, which does basically the ame thing. You migh want to give it a try.

If my bro has xp publish, can he set that to upload to his own folder rather than have full access to the gallery? I trust him, so full admin rights is ok, but I am thinking of the other people who have pictures that I don't know in my car club who want their own space too.
