Integrate CPG to wbb?

Hello,

Is it possible to integrate the new CPG Version into a wolt lab Burning Board?

I have a Woltlab Burning Board and want to have a main database (same User LogIn) in the CPG and the Woltlab Board,

I hope somebody can help me,

There is already a bridge file available for woltlab21, if that is the same as burning boards.

As youare offering to pay, I am moving this to the freelance request board.

My Board is 2.1.0 of Burning Board......

It is best if both applications are on the same database.

The bridge file should be in the bridge folder within your coppermine folder.

Hi,

there are general instructions in the docs, Here
Make sure coppermine is working correctly by itself first, but do not allow users to register to it until bridged if possible.

There are 2 lines of code(37 & 38) you need to edit in bridge/woltlab21.inc.php, so the actual path to your burning board is shown, and one line in include/init.inc.php, to remove the comment slashes.

Then you just upload these files, and then login and go to the coppermine groups page to make sure the settings are what you want.

If you are unsure, just post back here the actual address of your site, so we can see.

In the Gallery, there are 21.142 Pics and 4.510 Comments and a lot of registered Users......

First i want to upgrade my gallery to CPG 1.3.2 and then i want to install the bridge to the wolt lab burning board 2.1.0

I don`t want to make a mistake....

can somebody help me?

I can help you to upgrade but not bridge because of user table conflict.

Anyway, can you open another thread of your own ?

Bridging these will not be easy, if at all possible, because they 2 apps are on different domains.
Also, as both already have many users, it will be very difficult to keep the pic/album ownership correct if you do bridge, without a lot of work on the database.



This is beyond me I'm afraid.

If you delete the users in the gallery, then you will also lose their pictures and albums.

User can not upload pics and make albums, only the Admins.

So we can delete all the users in the gallery....

and they have the same domain on the same server, insideall is just a subdomain:

But if this is not possible, we install a new gallery and the we bridge it....
