hi all,
downloaded fresh copy 1.3.2.zip
extract and ftp upload to a folder /gallery in my web space
changed modes both to 777 - 755 of related folders
done this 10 times or so so far ...
every time the error is :
Parse error: parse error, unexpected $ in /home/*****/public_html/gallery/install.php on line 111
i've allready delete and re-upload the extracted files to /gallery folder several times...
also i've replaced the install.php file about a million times with a "crean fresh copy" of the included in the .zip file ...
General server information:

my pc is operating WinXP Pro SP1 amd i'm using FF is this counts ...
any help will be valuable...
What are you using to upload with ? have you tried re-downloading the zip file itself, myabe that was corrupted.

fireFTP extension for Firefox,
AceFTP,
FlashFXFTP,
BullerProof FTP .... so far ... :-\\
downloaded the .zip file about 5 or 6 times ...
i should ftp upload all the extracted from .zip file in ASCII mode ... is this right ?
this is a part of my install.php file which seems to have the parse error..
the error should be somewhere here

specifically the exact line is 325 ...
line 325 is the closing of form tag just few lines before end of sub.... </form>
can u figure out smthing ?

re-download the .zip file - extract - upload and this is my new error line number... ??? :-\\
done everything so far ... >:(
re-download and upload with ftp about a trillion times the files required for coppermine...
changed the attributes of folders.... but nothing happens...
it's the same error every time ...

something very freaky was happening with all my FTP tools ??? what else can i say ...
