hi all,

downloaded fresh copy 1.3.2.zip
extract and ftp upload to a folder /gallery in my web space
changed modes both to 777 - 755 of related folders
done this 10 times or so so far ...

every time the error is :
Parse error: parse error, unexpected $ in /home/*****/public_html/gallery/install.php on line 111

i've allready delete and re-upload the extracted files to /gallery folder several times...
also i've replaced the install.php file about a million times with a "crean fresh copy" of the included in the .zip file ...

General server information:
Operating system    Linux
Apache version    1.3.33 (Unix)
PERL version    5.8.1
PHP version    4.3.10
MySQL version    4.0.22-standard
cPanel Build    10.0.0-CURRENT 52

my pc is operating WinXP Pro SP1 amd i'm using FF is this counts ...

any help will be valuable...

       <tr>
            <form action="install.php">
        <td class="tableh1" colspan="2"><h2>Welcome to Coppermine installation</h2>
        </td>
       </tr>
       <tr>
        <td class="tableh2" colspan="2" align="center"><span class="error">&#149;&nbsp;&#149;&nbsp;&#149;&nbsp;ERROR&nbsp;&#149;&nbsp;&#149;&nbsp;&#149;</span>
        </td>
       </tr>
       <tr>
        <td class="tableb" colspan="2"> Before you continue with Coppermine installation, there are some problems that need to be fixed.<br /><br /><b><?php echo $error_msg ?></b>Once you are done, hit the "Try again" button.<br />
        </td>
       </tr>
       <tr>
        <td colspan="2" align="center"><br />
                <input type="submit" value="Try again !"><br /><br />
        </td>
