Ok how can i modify ssi.php so that it would show todays recent ablums. And have it in a format like this:

no, sorry: using ssi.php isn't recommended any more - as I posted on the old board some time ago, I won't put any new features into it as the script's design itself is wacky. No support on this - as it'd require some looking into, and some adding of code. You're on your own with this.
