Cirillyc usernames unavailable

Hi! after update 1.3.5 to 1.4.2 new it's not possible to create new user with ciryllic symbols in username

Old usernames work fine/

is this suppossed to be a bug report or a request for help? It doesn't qualify for none of both, as you need to post more details, e.g. a link to your page, encoding set up in coppermine's config, encoding of database etc.
