This evening I was trying to set up my Coppermine and I keep receiving the same error message over and over.

MySQL error was : Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (46)

I've went back and retraced my steps to see if it was an error on my part but, I can't seem to find the problem or where to begin correcting it (other than the MySQL server). If someone could help me, that'd be great. Thanks. :)

Try searching the web for the message. It's from MySQL not Coppermine.

Yeah, I've tried the MySQL website and I can't seem to find anything close to what information or help I need. I just don't know where to begin, as to fix the problem. So, I figured I'd try here to see if the same error was familiar to anybody else.
