Permissions and Upgrade

I'm trying to do two things, so I figured I would make one thread.

1)  How do I give permissions to my member database for a particular album?  Currently, (admin) I'm only able to post anything, none of my users can.

2)  How do I upgrade from 1.4.2 to 1.4.3?  I read the FAQ and documentation, but there is nothing for them.

Both answers are in the documentation.  For the first, my hint is that permissions are doled out to groups.  For the second, remember that 1.4.2 is included in the phrase "1.2.0 (or better)".

There are very good reasons to keep one question per thread and in your case the questions are very different and should be in 2 different forums.
