Direct links to images like using ImageShack

I don't know if its is already possible to do this, but if not I would like to request a feature that should allow to copy and paste the html links to the images stored and the thumbnails generated by the cpg system like it is possible using imageshack.

There are threads that discuss how to do this.  One plugin is here but only includes a link to the thumbnail image.  I'm fairly certain there are theme customizations that will give you the full-size link.
