Some albums have disappeared

I have been searching and reading most of the day in here and have been unable to resolve a problem I've run into. I just installed and setup coppermine and it is a fantastic program. I have created a Member's Photo album on our website and at first everything worked very well. Then I ran into a problem(which I'll describe in a sec), I eventually removed and deleted the entire system from the site. I created a new database at the server and reinstalled coppermine. All seemed good, added several members each with their own galleries. All galleries are being set in one category. I even created three albums for one of the users to show the multiple album features. So far so good. Out of the blue all of a sudden only 2 galleries are showing up. It says there are 5 users on 1 page but it only shows the first 2 that were made. Any suggestions?? This has me baffled. Thank you in advance.

- What is the version of gallery?
- in case of using 1.4.8 or later upgrade to 1.4.9

Thank you so very much. The fix in the other posting you linked there for me worked beautifully. I really appreciate the help.
