I'm working on an XHTML Strict theme for the software right now, and the html used for the powered by link isn't valid in strict mode. I have no desire whatsoever to remove or change the link and break any license agreements, but validation is an important thing here (this is a job for a client), and I need to fix the error in the tag.

I realize that changing and removing the tag are normally against the license agreement, but I do not wish to change the validation of a project simply because the one line I cannot edit contains invalid code.

Thanks in advance.

See if this plugin helps. It removes the inline style too so you may need to adjust your CSS.

Thanks for redirecting me to this link, Nibbler !
Could someone tell me how should I install these files, please ?

Read how to install plugins in the manual.
