When uploaded pics come out grey...

Sometimes when users upload pics, half of the picture comes out as grey. They then have to delete it and re-upload then most times its ok. Y is this ? Does the script have problems when lots of pics are uploaded ?

It would be helpful to know the image software you are using, PHP version, and to have a link to an example.

This usually happens when the user cancels the upload before it is fully uploaded to the server.
