Hi,

Why does this error come up when users try to upload pictures?

Error

Sorry there is no album where you are allowed to upload pictures

Is there an option that has to be set to allow them to upload pictures? I've tried everything. Help would be very much appreciated :)

Thx.

Do not send me a private message unless I ask for one.  Make your post public so everyone can benefit.

I am having the same problem. In all the right places, everything seems to be right. Registered users can upload photos and don't require admin approval, yet "no albums for upload" is found unless that user has a personal album, then only the personal album is available. As admin, I can upload to all albums. The manual doesn't address troubleshooting. Please help! Thank you.

Okay, I figured it out. In each album's "properties" page, there is a setting for "Visitors can upload pictures." This has to be set to "yes." This is in the manual but I misunderstood it the first time. Now everything is okay, except that I have to be in admin mode to make albums in my personal gallery :p

you need to read docs. if needing user to upload elsewhere other than his gallery you need to make an album in a public category and enable visitor u/loads = yes fo that album
