Upgrade to 1.3.17 failed

After following the instructions, uploading and running update.php, I get the following message

and nothing is working from this point on.

Bridged with SMF1.14 and the following error is both in versioncheck and when trying to open the gallery
Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'bridge/smf10.inc.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php/') in /include/init.inc.php on line 239

smf10.inc.php is in that directory?

What is the problem here
