Is there any way logs could be provided for registered users who view full-size images in the gallery?

A reason why this would be useful:

I've had problems with a member saving copyrighted images from my site and uploading them elsewhere, sometimes also modifying them to remove credits/watermarks. Only registered members can view the gallery, so I know the person is registered, but his username and email address is not similar to the one he uses on the other site, and I haven't been able to find him by IP either. But, I know he's registered and visits the site regularly because newly uploaded photos of mine constantly appear on his site. However, if I could view logs of which registered users have viewed the full-size images (and when) that have been stolen, I could probably pin him down a lot more easily.

Would something like that be possible?

I definately agree with you. I have found a whole gallery of mine "1995" images uploaded to a torrent. That is part of the reason I want to see a download limit. Coupled with your idea it would be great!

cpg1.5.x will feature stats/logs per pic, with the IP address being recorded. I'll look into it to see if it will have a huge performance impact to log the user id as well.

OK, I have added that feature to the SVN, so it will be in cpg1.5.x once it gets released. Marking thread as "done".
