Since you guys are so FAST...

My co-admin is pulling his hair out trying to locate "how to upload" photos to the gallery. We can't find an upload button/config/setting/etc.

Help again...

(rubbing tired eyes)

We have been reading the problems with invision powerboard.

We are now confused after reading four different threads all with "change this, config that, modify query this..."

When looking in our "bridge" file we see that the values for IBP groups DO match what they are supposed to?  Yet we cannot, as admins, upload pics.

When I set the group permissions (to yes) on the TWO banned categories (why do we have two groups both called 'banned'?) THEN we upload.

So, what should we be changing? The group names should be switched in the Groups config? The permissions should be set differently for each group.. or something completely different.

Arrrrgh!  (oh, and we really love coppermine but just wanittowork. :)

Thanks!

Wish I worked more with the IB stuff... I'm sorry.

Banning is a relatively new feature and you may be the first people to be encountering the IB/ban problem.
Read the Online DOCs,FAQ, and SEARCH the board BEFORE posting questions for help.

I guess it's not a matter of banning (which has been introduced in cpg1.2.0 and shouldn't have leaket out yet), but group membership: if the bbs is run by two admins (two users in admin group) the settings of this group won't make it to coppermine - the "second admin" (the one who didn't set up coppermine) is not recognized as admin afaik (at least I thought to have read this somewhere on the old board).
As a quick workaround, create a second user for your co-admin in your bbs and put him into a group that is allowed to upload; if membership in multiple groups is possible in ibf, just make him member of the "uploader" group.
