Additional Menu Items

Is there a way to add additional menu items? I want to link to other parts of the site besides the gallery.

You have 3 possibilities imo.
1. Use the 'Custom menu link' config option
2. Use a custom header/footer
3. Add new items to one of Coppermine's menus.

Please read the docs and/or search the board how to accomplish that.
