Custom Thumbnails for Videos

OK... must be doing something wrong... dang if I know what it is.

Previously loaded videos to CPG... name of vietlaotrip.mpg.  Decided later that I wanted a custom thumb.  Created an image named vietlaotrip.png and uploaded to same directory as the movie.

Next, used batch add and added the png file.  As noted in the docs I ended up with a thumb_vietlaotrip.png and it does replace the stock image for the movie.

However, now the album also contains the original png image as well, not what I had intended.  Where have I run amock?
