PHPBB3 error

i have integrated coppermine with phpbb3.0.7 . integration is fine but my phpbb board is in URDU  language and coppermine is not supporting unicode names, copper mine show name of logged user as ""

both data bases are utf, i have checked

I have the following issue when trying to bridge coppermine and phpbb3:
user name shown at coppermine gallery is (question marks) ؟؟؟؟؟؟

Coppermine install:http://www.kehkshan.com/gallery/
Bridging app install: http://www.kehkshan.com/forum
Coppermine version: cpg1.5.0
Bridging app version: phpbb3.0.7 PL1
Test user account:
user =    ٹیسٹ     (use copy paste for user name)
pasword =  testtest

BridgeManager settings:
Bridge app URL:  http://www.kehkshan.com/gallery/
Relative path to your bridge app's config file:  ../forum/
Cookie name or prefix:  kehkshan_azi
Use bridge app custom groups?:  1

I'm no encoding expert, nor know the bridging mechanism exactly. Maybe Nibbler can help you when he reads this thread.
