Im going to rename it on my site, but just to make note, users are clicking on "default" mistaking it with "reset theme". I can see why this occurs, maybe call it cpg blue or something?

How about calling the default theme "Greg" or "Demar" or something on those lines?  What do you all think?

default is default because thats what the script defaults to if the theme name fails...

So if you rename the theme - It will be available under that name BUT be sure you have a default  theme in place
