Attach member(s) with a gallery ?! (control admin)

I would like to add (only admin or moderator)
Photos by [user1] [user2] ...

There is an option where you can ADD the name of the photographer UNDER EACH PIC, but the problem is you can't select one pic to "change" the name of the user : Coppermine "thinks" One Gallery = One User (the only case is to "open" a gallery where several users can post themselves ... but I don't want this)

So, is it possible to add an option in "properties" of the gallery where
1. How many Photographers take photos ?
2. Select in memberlist the users ?
