i have just installed phpbb and i wanted to no if when i intergrate would the phpbb use the same user table so people that are already members to the gallery wil not hav to sign up to the phpbb ??

you will lose all your gallery members
possible way to migrate gallery members to forums have been discussed before, not sure if it actually works though
also after intergrating, gallery and forum will use the same user table, and all future sign up at your gallery will be redirected to forum sign up page.

integration/bridging can be switched on and off savely, so just go ahead and try it for yourself to see if it works for you.
