G is not a registered protocol

I need help.  When I tried using my new Coppermine Gallery with MySQL database I couldn't change the configuration.  It started with when I tried to login with my admin name.  It worked, but when I clicked 'continue' it told me something to the effect that "g is not a registered protocol".  Later on I tried changing my configurations and when I asked it to save it said the same thing.

I tried, afterwards, running my gallery on Netscape rather than Internet Exploerer but it did the same thing.  Can someone help me out here?

IE:  "This program does not support the protocol for accessing 'g:/php4/php.exe'."

Sounds more like a php error than a CPG error.
