Is there a way to do this? Or make it so that the members cannot see this category?

set "Users can can have private albums" to "no" in coppermine config. Then go to "groups" setup and set "Can have a personal gallery" to "no" for all relevant groups. This will hide user galleries as long as you don't have any. If you already have user galleries set up, you'll have to manually (with phpMyAdmin, there's no function built into the coppermine UI yet) move/delete them first.
