How to get toprated pictures numbered?

Please help me,

i´d like to have top rated pictures to be numbered. I have a system that makes a top with average score and last rated pictures, but there are many pictures with the same score. So is it possible to get positions, like first picture is numbered with ¤1 , the second one with ¤2, third one with ¤3 and so on.
