Can't login

Hi.
I installed coppermine gallery yesterday, and today I can't login!
I'm 100% sure of my name and password, but it says
*** Couldn't log in. Try again ***
And I've inserted a fake e-mail, so I can't ask for lost password either.

How can I change/reset the account?

Thats, but I solved it by changing password in the database with PHPMyAdmin, don't ask me why it worked, but it did. Thanks.

I had the same problem and was able to fix in mySQL admin, but found the problem: i used fantastico ala cpanel to install, got the confirmation email with user admin and password but when i checked in the db the password was oddly set to my email ---

i double and triple checked the confirmation email fantastico sent and it's all correct. seems to be a problem in my hosting company's fantastico installer

curious whether anyone else has experienced this...
