I made a Category called "Guild Wars" - in it 4 galleries.

Link: http://kreeder.systemnetworkz.de/coppermine/index.php

If someone registers in coppermine and presses the "Upload" Button - A Message comes that there are no albums he can upload sth ...
If i log in as administrator - i can upload.

So i changed everything in the Admin Option called "User" - So Registered look like Admins - But still doesnt work.

So - What must i change in order to make registered users able to upload on every gallery (my friend said he can only upload in a private gallery) and also make them unable to delete or change anything ?

Thx, Selecta

click the 'properties' link above the album you want to edit. Here you set 'Visitors can upload files' to yes

I know people can upload to a album I made. but is it possible to let users make there own (not private!) album?

i other words. is it possible to let users make an album in a general category (or no category at all)

No.  Please search before posting - this has been discussed many, many times.
Do not send me a private message unless I ask for one.  Make your post public so everyone can benefit.

could you post a link to the major topic discussing this issue? i would be very handy

I don't know them off the top of my head.  However, users cannot make pubic albums.  There are no mods or hacks that allow this action.
