I'm thinking about leaving Lighting-Gallery.net (a site powered by Coppermine Photo Galleries), and start my own street-lighting showcase site, but I wanna learn how to start my own coppermine photo gallery.

Can anyone give me some instructions?

Please post your issue to related board

Documentation

Supporters are much more inclined to give detailed answers if you respect board rules (starting your thread on a sub-board that is clearly labelled as "Photography: Tips/Tricks - Everything related to photography (no coppermine support here)" is definitely not a bright idea). Failing to read the docs before posting is not a bright move neither.

What part of it is complicated? If you're familiar with the Coppermine gallery and want to install one, and the tutorial is confusing you, try looking at the Documentation, it goes through just about everything. Then if you have a problem or question about something specific, you can ask on the forums about it. If you just generally say it's too complicated, nobody can help you.

For starting any kind of website (coppermine or non-coppermine) one should know atleast the basics of world wide web (www) like how to ftp, what is a server, how to book a domain name, how to purchase web-space etc... If you don't know these things then you can search google for tutorials on this.
