Hello,

I would like to be able to add a (show me all users work) button.

which basically will, when you recieve a comment u will be able to click on this button and see all of the work uploaded by the person who left the comment.

So first I will need to know how to place any old link in the comment bar.

then I will need to know how to grab the user id of the current commentor.

Then I can stick that user id on the end of this:

Any help on how to do this would be much apreciated.

All the best, Nick

Asking for support on a board that is clearly labelled "General discussion (no support!)" is not a bright idea. You're running cpg1.4.8, so I'm moving your thread accordingly. In the future, please respect board rules.

What I did in the modpack was making the username next to comments clickable. That click opens that users profile -> voilà

sorry GauGau, I kinda looked at where to put it, I thought the best place would be under Mods --> Comments, but that section seems to be locked to any new posts, so I stuck it in general.

But ah well another Karma point down, you are too kind :)

not sure what you mean by the modpack but I'll do a little search first...I am bridged so not sure how it will work with me trying to open their profile...but I'll give it a shot.

cool, your modpack looks great, I'll give it a try today...I like the comments notification system too...I'll see if I can get that working as well.

Cheers

Nick
