Hello,

I just got Coppermine Photo Gallery v. 1.2.1 up on my site, and so far so good I am like it. The problem is that I cannot, for some reason, upload multiple pictures. I took a look around this forum to find some answers. My folder is indeed not under "userpics", it does have the same CHMOD as the "albums" folder, the file extensions are "jpg" and I can upload each picture individually (which does take a long time for having many pictures that need to be up). I have checked my configuration settings for file extensions and using "GD version 2.x" for the gallery, my php version is 4.3.5.

Also to throw in, when I click on "Batch Add Pictures" I do see the directories that I have made, but mention earlier, no pictures are showing. Is there something wrong with the codes, settings, etc.? I hope someone will help me out on my stumped question. The link to my gallery is:

http://www.korinstower.com/kt_gallery/index.php

If this isn't helping anyone and need more information or need to dig into my gallery settings, let me know and I will be glad to help anything to get this gallery going. Thank you.

when using batch-add, make sure neither the folders you created nor the pics you ftp-upload start with a dot in their name. In fact you should avoid any special chars, only alphanumeric chars should be used.

There really isn't any "."s or any special characters used except using the "." for the file extension. For an example, "goku01.jpg"

Then please post a screenshot of the batch-add screens and (to compare things) your ftp program (window view), so we can take a look at what you mean.

This still seems to be a permissions issue to me. Try CHMODing the files explicitely once more to 755 or 777.

I tried changing the files to 755, couldn't find the pictures. Then I changed them to 777 and still no go. Afterwards, I changed them back to 755 and still can't find the pictures on "Batch Add Pictures".  :-\\

Just a thought, in config, check you have jpg specified in 'Accepted file extensions for uploaded pictures'.
It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here

Hoopu

Yep, the config. does say it accepts "jpg" files. I have a screenshot of it too if you want to take a look at that as well.

Thanks.

I've tried everything that I could think of and even played around things that I was mentioned over and over again. If there's anyone who would like to help out and would be better to look at the gallery and ftp personally, I would not mind if it will help my gallery out.

For anyone else suffering the same symptoms.

This was caused by the config setting 'The prefix for intermediate pictures' being empty, but the 'Create intermediate pictures' being set to YES.
