Hello,

I want to batch add pictures, but I only receive

DP : means that the picture is a duplicate and is already in the database

Can someone explain this problem???

Thanks in advance

Casper

What folder did you ftp the pics into, i.e., albums/yourfolders, or albums/userpics/yourfolders ?
It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here

The only files I see when I open batch add pictures are

Userpics
- 10001
- 10003
- 10004
all the pictures are uploaded with the coppermine program --> Upload picture

OK, you seem to have mis-understood the purpose of the batch add function.

This is for admin to be able to quickly upload multiple pictures into the gallery.  You should create folders in your cpg/albums/ folder, using your ftp program.  It is a good idea to mirror the albums you wish to put them in, so the structure is easy for you to navigate, so you could have for instance, within albums, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, and within these you could have westlands, augusta, bell etc.  Do not use any full stops '.' in the folder names
make sure you do not put these folders in the userpics folder.  Chmod them to the same as the albums folder.

Now use your ftp program to upload your pics into these folders.

Now when you go into the batch add utility you will see these folders, and when you click on them you will see the pics.  Simply choose which album you want them in, and click go.
