Coppermine Photo Gallery 1.4.13 modpack v2 (stable)

i sure am not finding an avatar control panel, did i screw up?  it's working awesome by the way except that

Stramm

latest version is for 1.4.14 (v1)
To manage avatars the user has to click 'avatar manage' within his profile

ok updated the mod pack i am bridged with the latest version of smf, but still no avatar any ideas or suggestions, avatars in the gallery aren't that big a deal, but is a nice option

Stramm

if you're bridged, then the forums avatars are considered instead of the one users can chose in the modpacks 'avatar manage'

enabling avatars within comments...

QuoteAvatar (default off)
Config -> User settings - Enable User Avatar (Mini Thumbs Required)
Check your profile as well. Here's a link to the avatar manager. Surfers who have uploaded pics can choose their avatar from them or users just can upload an image that gets resized to the mini thumbs settings (mini thumbs of course get sharpened too). If you have choosen an avatar all users will see it in your profile and next to your comments, PMs, in the buddy list etc. If you use a bridged Coppermine your forums avatars gets used instead

just thought i'd update what was going on, i got the avatar to show in the gallery by changing the path in the bridge BUT it will only show avatars in the avatar folder, if a user uploads an avatar it won't show up, this again is with smf, and there is no sign of an avatar manager at all, just the avatar settings in smf       "here's a link to the avatar manager" doesn't apply        thanks

If you'd read the announcement thread and the docs in the above link I've given you, then you probably would have seen:
QuoteOf course bridged versions use PM and avatar system of the forum. Due to how SMF works only the 'hosted' avatars get considered here.

This are layout restrictions. Each forum soft has another way to implement avatars and the modpack needs to find a solution to get them all going. If you search the modpack forum you'll find a user contribution how to make all smf avatars working (user uploaded ones too).

QuoteIf you use a bridged Coppermine your forums avatars gets used instead
Quoteif you're bridged, then the forums avatars are considered instead of the one users can chose in the modpacks 'avatar manage'
Means in bridged environments an avatar manager within coppermine is not necessary anymore cause it won't be considered. Also coppermine doesn't show its 'edit profile' when bridged.
