Is there a reason why all videos have to load fully before playing, no matter what setting you have it on whether you want it to play right away or not the videos will just sit there making you wonder if there is a video until it is loaded.  I really hope there is a fix for this or at least I need to figure out a way to make it obvious to the user that the video need to load first before they can press play.

I hope you can help me with this.

Thanks!

Entirely depends on the setup of the player on your desktop that is embedded into your browser. For me, the movies start playing even though the file isn't fully loaded. Nothing we could possibly help you with.

Nibbler

Enable 'Movie Playback Autostart' in config.

The plugins section is for Coppermine plugins, not browser plugins. Moving.

It is not about enabling it to play because it still loads either way before it plays, It is not a separate issue with windows media player itself since I have it set correctly.  Maybe there is a way coppermine can play the video (whether you want it to start or not) without having to load the whole video first.

Thanks.

You still don't have it enabled.

MPEGs and AVIs will NEVER stream, hence they won't start playing before it loads. WMVs and FLVs are examples of streaming video and will play as soon as the correct buffer is loaded.

The avi file is divx, it streams just fine.

The one I checked doesn't play for me so I thought they were uncompressed AVIs.

They are compressed, are you sure it does not play at all?

The same happens to me. AVI, WMV, MPEG, whatever...

Any news please help me...

Hm, how are we suppossed to do this? Mind readers hats are out of stock, so maybe you could provide a link to your gallery for a start... ::)

You don't need any mind reader hat, 'cause I'm talking about any video in any gallery, not exactally in my one.

Otherwise, in my gallery I can't play the videos. I have already posted but any one could help me to fix this error...
