Hi allvip

Sorry for  the late reply been a bit busy over the weekend, my web site address is www.steve-daggers.co.uk, in IE and Chrome it should auto redirect to the correct page, but for some reason my web site does not display at all in Firefox.

Just doing the code changes now so you should see the difference shortly.

Cheers

Steve

So sorry. I forgot about this topic.
Your website is a blank page in all browsers for me (firefox, internet explorer, safari, chrome) even with the curve theme http://www.steve-daggers.co.uk/index.php?theme=curve.
I can see you have the curve theme http://steve-daggers.co.uk/themes/curve/style.css

...it should auto redirect to the correct page...

Do you have a .htaccess file in the gallery root on your host file manager?
What is the themes folder, curve folder, curve/images folder, curve/theme.php, curve/template.html, curve/style.css permissions on your host file manager?
Do you have another script installed on your website like drupal, wordpress, forum etc?
Did you briddged coppermine with a forum?

Anyway coppermine team can help you more with this.

Hi Again

Yes there is a .htaccess file in the root folder of the coppermine gallery install, the theme folder is listed as DPGalleries/themes/curve or DPGalleries/themes/cursinova (which is the theme I am using).

I do have WordPress installed in a different directory on the server but it is not linked to the coppermine directory.

No I have not bridged coppermine to a forum.

I have attached an image that shows the root directory of my server.

allvip: I edited your reply. I replaced Root Directory.png. Your Root Directory.png was showing in the top your ftp username.

I splitted the topic in two topics because is not about theme edits anymore.

Please temporary delete or rename the .htaccess file and check if you still get a blank page.

Hi Andre

Thanks for your reply, bit busy at the moment but will try as you say sometime this week and see what happens.

If the above suggestion yields no results refresh the page a few times then get the servers error logs from your host from the exact time you did all the refreshes. They should show up what the actual error is that is preventing the page from showing.
It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes.

Daggers

I have tried deleting the .htaccess file and it made no difference.

I have attached some screen grabs of my site as displayed by various browsers, on Chrome the site displays the curve theme even though the config settings are set to curvinosa, on Firefox my site does not display at all, and in Internet Explorer it displays correctly as it should do with the modified curvinosa theme that I wish to use.

Please do as I suggested re the server logs. I cannot see your site in any browser so it does hint at a server related issue.

I have sorted the issue with the theme displaying incorrectly, I deleted the curve theme from my server and this cured the problem of selecting the wrong theme.

I will do the refresh and download the server logs later today.
