Problem with batch add

Hi

I have just installed the photogallery and everything went fine. I set permissions on all the correct folders and the added my folders to /albums.

I then go into the batch add bit and select the folder i want to upload. It loads with all the files names but the little pics dont load and if i try to add them all they dont add. Any idea whats going wrong?

Turn on debug and post the errors you get.  Also, a link to your site will help.  And did you search the forums for this problem, to see if it's been talked about before?

Do you have Image Magick? Try uploading one pic with http upload first, and see if this works for you. My guess is you don't have the minimum requirements for Coppermine.

Hmmmm,

this has thrown up a problem with the debug mode, as the debug info is not always correct, see the 2 pics, both from my test site, and the same install.
One shows the true php info, and as you can see, has GD1 installed, which is in use, as there is no IM.
The second shows the debug info, which says GD not installed, clearly incorrect.  Note, it also shows mySQL doesn't exist, which is also wrong.

So I suggest charmed88 looks at the full php info first.

But we need to find out why the debug is not working.

You can not upload GIFs using GD, as GD has only GIF read support, but no GIF write support. Try uploading a known-good jpeg instead.

That's not exactly what I was asking (although related); is it writable by the script? This could as well mean CHMOD 755 or other (on "exotic" server setups). Please post more details on your server as well, and check if the "edit" sub-dir exists and is CHMODed as well to be writable for the script.

I couldn't have worked if there is no GD lib on his server (as I suggested before btw.).

@Charmed: make sure you have the minimum requirements for running coppermine (contact your webhost if you must). If you think you have the minimum requirements, report back here please.
