I Apologize now if already asked but did not find anything close to this......

After I Upload the Files using CuteFTP and set the permissions i go to try to batch add them and instead of trying to add from just the one folder ( /albums/Series A-Z/# Series/3x3 Eyes/Groups ) it tries to search all the folders under /Ablums...

Beore upgrading to v1.3.1 this worked fine.

no error is given.

I'm not sure if I have understood your question in detail. You created a folder within the albums folder and you have ftp-uploaded pics there you want to add to the coppermine database, using the batch-add tool. If you click on batch-add, all folder that were created within the albums folder will be shown. You will have to click on the specific sub-folder your files are in (this is expected behaviour and has always been that way, in all coppermine versions). Does this work for you? Please ilustrate your question with screenshots if possible.

I have "same" problem. I create subfolder within albums folder, and there is pictures. If i use "batch add files" i dont see no folders (directories). There is just a text:
Select directory
This function allows you to add a batch of file that your have uploaded to your server by FTP.
Select the directory where you have uploaded your files

Coppermine 1.3.1, IIS 5.1

folder permissions set (there's no CHMOD on IIS, but there are permissions anyway)? What's the name of the subfolder within your albums folder?

.......\albums\userpics\2004year\0725birth

Under 1.2.0 works all perfect.

I think you just answered your own question - you are not supposed to upload into userpics !

Make your own folder directly inside the albums directory.

Hmmmm, okey, if i make subdirectory with my username, it really works. But now my older pictures is in userpics directory...

Casper

If they are not causing a problem, leave them there.

But do not use userpics again, that is for the application to use when users upload by html.
It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here

OK, it works now and now i know how. Thaks for all!
