I'm running my gallery for family only and do not want the world wandering thru our pictures. Is there a way to make the gallery members only? I looked at the groups but did not see a way to do this.

Then turn off new registrations in config.  When a member of your family wants to become a user, you can create them.
It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here
