hy,

have some question, after installation like adminstrator i create some categories and users, etc.... my ideia was the users upload they files to the existem categories. The result was that the users just can put in one categorie with the name user gallerie and the adminstrator have this message:

"Sorry there is no album where you are allowed to upload files"

i will like to know where i can configure...

You have to change the properties of the albums you want them to upload to.
Click on the 'properties' button next to the album thumb, and change 'visitors can upload' to yes.
It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here

why de administrator can't upload files? :-\\
and i select that visitor can upload files, but when a diferent user upload files they continue just upload to own gallery and i will like to upload to the categories that administrator created....

how can i resolve this? i already read all the manual.... :-[

If you want your users only to be capable of uploading to public albums you created, but not to have albums of their own, go to "groups" and disable the option that allows them to have a personal gallery. This is all in the documentation that comes with coppermine, please read it carefully.
