Gallery doesn't recognize me?

I hope I posted this in the right place.

On my boards I have a gallery linked to it. But when you go the gallery it says you need to login even though you are already logged in. So when I click the login button it takes me back to my forums then I login in, it takes me back to the gallery but I am still not logged in.

I am the admin on my site but it is the same for all my members. I have tried it in admin, mod & user modes but it comes up the same.

I recently had my boards updated but I do not believe anything was done to the gallery. The last upload was the 20th of Sept.

any ideas?

Here is my site...

Thanks for any help!

You've reviewed the integration steps in the documentation and verified everything is correct, especially cookie settings?  It appears that your forum is using a session id string instead of creating a cookie.  Coppermine doesn't use this so it doesn't know if you are logged in or not.

your forum is still using sessions for authentification. Unless you switch this to cookie-based authentification, you can not bridge coppermine with your bbs app, simple as that. Little we could do. This setting resides in phpbb's admin control panel somewhere, not sure how exactly it is called, as I'm not a phpbb expert. If you can't find this setting, you might want to ask for help on the phpbb support board first.

Hi GauGau,

How do you do this?  I can't find it in the docs or in the Admin Config panel of phpBB.
It allows the / forward slash, timeout, domain.net and phpbb2mysql.
There is no way to change from session to cookie handling.

I'm sorry if I missed something.

Thanks.

I don't know phpBB, sorry. Ask on the phpbb boards.

this may sound trivial... but have you checked if your cookie names are the same? In the bridge file and in phpbb admin? Same for domains etc

Nibbler

Set the cookie path in phpbb to '/' If that still doesn't work you can PM me an FTP login if you like.

bmacstw

That seemed t do it for me.

Thanks for your help!!!
