hi there

last night I uploaded about 30 pics and the site worked fine, however, today I cannot open the index.php file. Here is the problem:
I use FireFox and when I write out my URL address and it starts loading FireFox tries to download the file not to open it. With IE it simply displays blank page.

Here the url: http://paparak.info/ interesting is that if one loads http://paparak.info/faq.php everything is OK

Have I been hacked? I replaced the index.php with a brand new one but nothing changed? Server problem? Any ideas? Thanks

Stramm

rename the htaccess and recheck, eventually you have to clear your browsers cache

Sami

You are using framset on your defualt page , did you used that before this happen or it's new change?

@Stramm: rename it to what? here is the.htaccess comand: DirectoryIndex index.htm index.php index.html

@bmossavari: yep the iFrames radio was there before that.

Sami

I think your index.php was broken
did you use real ftp client?(don't use somthing like ms frontpage or golive)
resend index.php ...

Well I have been using FileZilla since I started the page over a month ago. I have more than 1500 pictures. Tried to upload a new index.php that I got from the instalation zip. I use cpm145 and wanted to upgrade to 148 but now with this issue i guess I'll have to wait.

I have put a new index.php, a new .htaccess file but nothing changed. however all pictures are there. Could this be some kind of a wiered (not fatal) SQL error...

Sami

okey let's start from the beginning:
- you are using cpg1.4.5, so all your file is from cpg 1.4.5 , is it true or may be you copy somthing from newer version ?
- this is not SQL error , I think this is related to your files...
- as you said you are using old version so please upgrade to 1.4.8 (please follow the upgrade doc carefully) and let see what happen.

peps

I did an upgrade to 1.4.8 and altough all the files where in red or yellow in the versioncheck the gallery works almost fine. The index.php still does not open!!! wiered.!!!

I see that you are using host.bg as a host is there any possibilities that they put anything on your index.php ? meta tag or redirect tag or advertisment , anything .....
let check this out rename your local index.php to blabla.php and send it to server then try to load it ....

host.bg is just the place where I register the domain. The real host server where I store my files is in germany (a friend shared part of his server). So practically everything is paied for so I don't have any redirects or ads on the site.

Anyway the site is working now. How? I don't know. As some of you noticed yesterday even after the update it wouldn't load. Where was the problem I don't know. I guess this could have been some bug in the system. I'll try to find out today but still wierd.

Problem solved! Thanks to everyone that gave me helpful hints.
