That is exactly what that mod does, it prevents guests from viewing the gallery.

The other way, without mods, is to change the properties of every album, to veiw by registered users only.

To do this, logon as admin, and click on the properties box next to each album.  if you cannot see the 'album can be viewed by' box, go to config, and set 'users can have private albums' to YES.

When you do this, guests can see the page, but no pictures.

Nevermind. got it back working. I went to the database and change the visibility value to 0 for the album. I believe there is a bug, maybe have to do with the phpbb intergration.  When you make the album private for the Members group, it doesn't let anyone see the album including the admin. It points to a blank album.

Yes, this is a known situation. It only allows members of the group set to see it, not admin. It is being sorted for the next version and there is a fix if you need it.

The workaround is to set 'Show private icon to unlogged users' to YES.  Admin can then see the album and can see and edit the albums.
