Hello,
I use those two themes, dfire and thirteen on my 1.4.x coppermine gallery www.carpatin.net/photo/ .
I've tried to update to 1.5.x, I have followed the entire guide, step by step, make the necessary changes on the style.css and template.html then make the DB update using update.php script.
Unfortunatelly there were some errors like: I could not log out with a regular user and some errors are shown as admin login. Also some albums photos are not present!! and full sized photos does not shows. A lot of buttons are missing.

I had to restore the backup and move back to 1.4.x coppermine version.

I don`t think I have the energy to take from the begining the whole process so my question is if someone allready have the dfire and thirteen theme allready modified for 1.5.x ? Thanks in advance.

Those themes have not been ported yet afaik.

Even if you can not upgrade to 1.5.8 yet you need to upgrade to 1.4.27

If someone has already ported those themes, he/she hasn't contributed it to the community. The upgrade guide doesn't cover the changes in theme.php. Maybe there is the culprit.

Maybe there is the culprit.

If that's the case. Start with a empty theme.php and copy the new functions from the 1.5.x sample theme into the blank theme.php and match them to the ones in the old theme.
