I got tired of using the back button on FF to go one page back when i was done adding a lot of pics to the gallery.

So, i added a little line on the searchnew.php. At the bottom to be precise.

Find
'<li>If your browser timeouts, hit the reload button'.

And add
'<li>At the bottom of a looooooong list ? Click <a href="index.php">here</a> to return to the frontpage'.

Edit the text to whatever you want ofcourse.

Not really a mod but maybe somebody has as use for it.

Cheers!
Hein

Just out of curiousity a little question on my own comfort mod ;)

Can it be possible to add a line like above but then linkling back to the album you just injected pictures into ???

kegobeer

Yes it is.  If you check out the devel version, that code has been put into searchnew.php.  Search thru the file for edit_pics.
Do not send me a private message unless I ask for one.  Make your post public so everyone can benefit.

There are no stupid questions
But there are a LOT of inquisitive idiots

k maybe a daft question but how do i get the devel version.. looking at the download page atm but no devel version there :)

Would you mind passing me a copy so i can look around in the code ?

Read this thread in the 1.4 testing/bugs board, http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=7947.0.

Be sure to read it thoroughly, and understand that it is completely unsupported.
It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here

Thanks for the thread casper. Will read it and see if i can use the info kegobeer gave.
