This question is for a Coppermine integration plugin I'm working on, but this question can be generalized to any CMS integration project.

I want to be able to upload pictures from within the editor screen in WordPress, and I don't want to leave the editor while doing that. The obvious solution is a popup window. After the pictures are uploaded, I want the bar above the editor to show the most recent pictures in the Gallery (with some AJAX, if you must hear the buzzwords  ;) )

Look at the picture, you will see what I mean.

Now, my problem is that by default, upload.php is themed. So I created a new minimal theme for the upload window, and for this screenshot I set it manually (?theme=nada).

So, is there a way to run upload.php without theming, and without having to reset the theme with ?theme=xxx ? A requirement is to keep Coppermine intact (no hackyhacky with the core... ) Or maybe you know another way to achieve this ?

My apologies if I should have posted this elsewhere, I didn't really know where to ask...

Nevermind, I created a new php file adapted from upload.php . I would have prefered a way to just theme upload.php to do that since it would be easier to upgrade, but it works.
