GauGau,
Thanks.  I'm working on making a gallery for my main website also.  Right now I have a flash gallery up, but that's mostly to show potential employers that I can integrate Flash into websites.
Once I get a free evening, I'll figure out how and upgrade to 1.4.12.

Glad you like the design.

Ludo

My family gallery, almost about trekking and travelling, already shared with italian users:
Il mondo di Manù e Giangi
CPG 1.4.12 + MiniCMS + Nibbler's Sitemap + Connections theme
Integration with a Wordpress blog planned

Update for benchmarking purposes:

www.smileonthetiles.com

300829 files in 4227 albums and 94 categories with 48259 comments viewed 10003171 times

Dual Xeon 2.8 (dedicated)
4 Gb RAM
2 x 73 Gb SCSI hard drives.

All good - still running smoothly (with powered by coppermine intact *wink*).

Just out of interest - does anyone know of a bigger coppermine installation than ours?  Would be interesting to compare notes.

we have more comments per week :)

Good good - maybe you'd be prepared to share some stats and info for benchmarking?  e.g. what server are a you using, RAM, etc.   ;)

Nibbler

Dual quad-core
4GB RAM
PHP 5.2.3 (fcgi) + APC
MySQL 5.0
lighttpd

About 200K page views per day.

Could run on less, but server is used for other sites too.

I was really excited about your application, and was going to link to it from the Coppermine group that I created, but then I saw that you have removed all credit that belonged to Coppermine. You deliberately hid the footer where the Powered by line should be, and instead it reads: Photographers application © 2007 and the link goes to your site. For someone claiming copyright, it would be nice if you respected others' intellectual property.

Even your About this Application makes no reference to Coppermine.

Both penjanje.net and Singular are running outdated versions. It is absolutely mandatory that you upgrade to the most recent stable release!

Thanks. How can you tell that my gallery is outdated just by looking at it?

Singular, if you go to your gallery and check out the page source code you will see this at the bottom of the page:

<!--Coppermine Photo Gallery 1.4.11 (stable)-->

That indicates which version you are currently using.

There are several other ways to figure this out (after all, I have created part of the code, so I know my way around). However, this is not a support thread: please post your questions in a thread of your own.

Wow! There are so many beautiful galleries here!!

Here is mine:

Unless you know histology, the pictures in my gallery won't make too much sense.  But you can still see the layout and what I did with Coppermine.
