I am considering using Coppermine on a project which also needs some extra registration information recorded - like full name and age etc. Is it easy enough to expand the registration table and pages for coppermine?

Also - IDEALLY this would run on the current windows MS SQL Server setup my client has -  but is this even remotely possible with the current Coppermine code base so heavily integrated with mySQL?

cheers,

Deskimo.

Q1.  Yes, but it takes a fair bit of coding.  see thread http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=2492&highlight=

Q2. Doubt it, but I know very little about databases.
It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here

You can make it work with MS SQL.  It's mainly a matter of changing some of the function names, etc.

To give you some idea of what you'll have to do, read http://us2.php.net/mssql
