main index page thumbs?

Can't we ADD thumnail previews to Main Index Page, so it's not just boring text?

Perhaps you should set you config 'Show first level album thumbnails in categories' to Yes.

also you can add 'random' or 'lastup', or a few others.

Thanks, BUT I did that already. I'm not really that dumb. ;-)

Even with the value set as 'yes' - It does not add a thing to the main index page as far as thumbs go... All I have is boring text. I can add 'last up' and stuff like that, but, was hoping to simply show off a couple thumbs from my actual categorized, indexed galleries.. I dunno, maybe something is not functioning correctly here? Any other thoughts?

I think everything is working correctly if you only use "user gallery's". I am wondering (and i think you too) if is it possible to see thumbnails of user gallery's in main page. I can only see albums with thumbnails on the main page if the album is in *no catergory*.

You should be able to see thumbs from albums in all cats except 'users'.
So if you have created other categories, that have unrestricted albums in them, and contain pics, you should see the thumb for that album on the front page, providing 'Show first level album thumbnails in categories' is set to Yes.

You cannot set the 'users galleries' category to be show thumbnails on the front page.

In cases like this, a link would be very helpful.

By the way, the setting is to show first level albums.
If the albums are under subcategories, they are NOT first level.
