1. There's 60 (A4) Pages, any particular bit? On the upload troubleshooting bit, I think I did that already.
2. I cant even log in again as an admin now!? :o There's no panel at the top

4.11.4 Upload troubleshooting

If you are experiencing issues with coppermine's upload process, temporarily change your coppermine settings as suggested below to get more detailed error messages:

    * Go to your coppermine page and log in as admin
    * Go to the config screen
    * Scroll to the bottom of the page
    * Expand the "Maintenance settings" section by clicking on it
    * Enable debug mode for everyone
    * Leave display of notices switched off
    * Save the new settings by clicking on "Save new configuration"
    * Go to the "groups" panel
    * Set the upload form configuration for all groups to "Single file uploads only" (set File upload boxes to "1", URI upload boxes to "0" and No. of boxes to "fixed")
    * Save your new settings

Then try to upload (using http uploads, even if you experienced troubles using another upload method) - you should get a more detailed error message that tells you what exactly goes wrong with your uploads. If the error message doesn't mean anything to you, search the support board for the error message you get.
When asking for support on the coppermine forum, post a link to your site and a test user account (the test user mustn't be in the admin group!) with upload privileges, with the above mentioned settings in place - this way, supporters can see the error messages as well. Do not post debug_output unless requested.

Quote2. I cant even log in again as an admin now!?

Should I just Re-install it?

I tried this before and the same happened. Same problem with uploading too.

Joachim Müller

do as suggested and post at least a link to your page. No need for an admin account to do that.

robbiew

That's odd, I can log in as an admin now.  ???

I did as it says in upload troubleshooting, attempted an upload, still no success. Here's the message it returned with:
Failed to create directory albums/userpics/10001 !

File: /home/robbiew/public_html/content/db_input.php - Line: 307

Can you help me?
Thanks

Nibbler

You need to make the userpics directory writable so that Coppermine can store files in it. Refer to the permissions section in the docs.

robbiew

grrr, its not letting me log in as an admin again!! lol. what is it, like once a day login?
Anywho, as soon as i can get back on, i'll do what you said.
Thanks again

robbiew

duhhhh, you mean on the FTP, lol.
I'll do it as soon as I can, lol, sorry.
:-X

robbiew

Hi again, sorry about the delay

As far as I can see, it is writable?

Joachim Müller

why do you ask us? Test for yourself.

Sentences that end with a question mark are usually considered to be questions. If you re-invented grammar and the "?" symbol means to you what others refer to as "exclamation mark", then accept my apologies.
Issue solved?

robbiew

You're right, sorry.

Not solved yet I'm afraid...still having trouble logging on and still cant upload.
Any other advice?

Thanks

Joachim Müller

Imo those are two issues then: does your login not stick? Do as suggested in the upload troubleshooting section of the docs.

robbiew

Yeah, with the login, when I type in my username and password, it comes up with the "Welcome admin..." page, and then goes back to the main page, without being logged in.

Searched the page for login troubleshooting and couldnt find anything?

Thanks for your help.  :)
