how to change intermediate pictures size (the ones before the big pop up)  :?:

Casper

You change it in config.  Thje 'maximum height or width' setting is the what you have set for the thumbnails.

Note, if you change it after already putting pics in the gallery, changing it here will only affect new pics.  To change existing, you will need to run the 'resize pics' utility.
It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here

I am talking about the intermediate pics, not small thumbnails... Assumed we have
1) Thumbs
2) intermediate pics
3) full size pics

So was I.
You change the size of intermediate pics in config.  Look for 'Max width or height of an intermediate picture * '.

My comment was pointing out the max aspect setting for height or width will be the same as that set for thumbs, ie., if you have thumbs set at 'height', and 'Max width or height of an intermediate picture *' set at 400, then the intermediate will be 400 high, but can be wider.

You can change the size if existing intermediates using the batch resize feature.
